Megs- The past two weeks have been so tough, physically, emotionally, and mentally. The enemy can be so damaging. BUT, what has my heart so captivated is how God has been moving and blessing Fletch and I. I am in awe at how marvelous our Savior is. As I seek Him out and learn His heart, I am also learning more about myself. The battle....The BATTLE!!!GOD IS AWESOME! no... ok (I'm flapping my hands rapidly in front of my face giddy GOd is so awesome, so generous, so tender, so loving.)
Tonight I had my Beth Moore bible study. and PRaise HIm for her.
DO YOU REGULARLY WOUND THE ENEMY????
DO YOU???
That questions awakens my heart and I feel so compelled to fight!! Fight for God as he fights for us. O my heart aches for HIM. Aches to know him intimately and be his warrior and servant and take up a sword in the battle that ...ps.. we know HE is going to win. WHY do we hold back??? What are we waiting for. Loved ones we need to join forces, establish prayer and a battalion so strong that the enemy quakes.
GOD strikes down the enemy, as HE WINS VICTORIES!!! We so often think of all the wounds that we have, and how the battle is waging against us...but tonight, TONIGHT God you are so captivating and such a warrior as you showed me that through you
WE CAN WOUND THE ENEMY!!!!! God can give us strength, the will, the passion we need to focus on Him and defeat and WOUND SATAN! HOW AWESOME IS THAT???????
so... Do you REGULARLY wound the enemy? I ask myself why I focus on all the things the he has done to me, my hurts, my struggles that seem endless, all these things that hold me back....but he can be stifled, shut up, left bleeding to death and wounded through our Savior.
We are called to fight, to influence. To Stand firm and resist the enemy (1 peter) and in everything PRAY. Oh how the Lord has opened my eyes to the ways of prayer.
EVERYTHING CAN BE AFFECTED BY PRAYER!! EVERYTHING. ...Everything....the power of the SPokEN words... verbally communicating with GOd, the enemy can not hear your thoughts...spear Him with the sound of the Word of God.
Sharpen your swords my beloveds, for the battle is tough...so tough... but today.. at this moment.. Stand firm ...wound the enemy..through Christ alone.
