Mellow Yellow

Lily was all yellow today....infact from the bum up to the armpits with a puddle of yellow pooling around the belly button... stinky yellow pooo.
Doing laundry one handed includes several tactics.. bring everyone with me...
wheres the Lily bug?

Lily's first camping experience...even if it was car camping.

We've been up to a bunch of fall activities recently. We went camping with people from our new sunday school class. I don't remember the last time we went just camping.. with no trails..but it was a great first time out with the Bean. she slept snuggley in the car seat bundled till kingdom come in our tent
Hiking around....

beautiful...

STEPH!!!
Well God is funny... He spreads all my dearest friends closest to my heart all over this country... its amazing that He can give all of us similar hearts and thoughts.. even though our lives are thousands of miles apart. Steph was in from Arizona and we enjoyed all the new colors of fall to the fullest at a pumpkin patch, sipping spicy ciders, brown squirrel giggles, way too detailed pumpkin carvings, and enjoying a sister that knows my heart. a kindred spirit.
My heart fills with joys- and my eyes with tears. I've never felt so blessed, a husband whom I love deeply, a daughter who captures my heart every second, and a family that expands beyond blood.. the people I do life with.. the connections deep and rooted in Christ no matter where we are taken or how often we can catch up. Its real. Its love, its how life is supposed to be done. Simply and filled with true love. We take care of each other, speaking to the other's hearts in numerous and profound ways.

The fall festivities... at the PatCh
Joel found us the jackpot hidden in the pumpkin patch... TAADA!

Itchy and belly high in the patch... but we had great ones!

All of us and the finds... I love our lifer friends

Well what would be more adorable than a pumpkin in a pumpkin? Indeed our Lily pea.
adorable but not enjoyable :)

Woah! So cute. She's got some crazy brown eyes.

P.S. There is an intern here who looks almost exactly like Joel. Freaky.
