Well... due to some computer issues no pics this time.. but a small update..
As of yesterday I had about an 1.5 hr of false labor contractions. So far the pain is easy...way easier than other things I've had to deal with :) THIS is a good sign!
We are so excited that anytime there is anything going on in the realm of cramps or braxton hicks... well its all going in the right direction. I know i'll change my mind after i've been in labor for awhile, but at the beginning I'm pretty sure I'm goin to be soo extatic!
The heat in Lancaster is a bit much and ah, the humidity.. well sweat fest and dizziness! However, it was for only 3 days last week when it was over 100 deeeaarrrgrees that I had gigantic pink puffy piggy toes that most likely would have shot off my feet had I been standing on them...and probably knocked someone out. gives a whole knew meaning to elephant feet.
Lily seems to be doing quite well... enjoying the little room she has left to move in there, it seems as if her two favorite locations to push prod and ponder are on my bladder... and lodging her feet in my ribs :) I have officially dropped... and dropped even lower than originally, yesterday... in the GO position....meaning two things.. one- shes ready and coming.. TWO - Going to the lou is about every 2 minutes.. plus the times I've wondered if I've peed myself or if the walls of my bladder are actually touching each other?!
Another phenominon: sloshing stomach... now that it is completely flattened uptop under my ribbers... well anytime I drink.. which is all the time.. the water does not go through the system quickly.. so when I walk.. I hear the ocean- hitting the sides of a boat.. coming from my stomach. I wonder if Lily thinks a tidal wave is coming? Or if she will enjoy fishing?
Trying to get her out is key. so long walks (occasionaly having to get a ride becasue we've underestimated how long these country roads are).. eating some extra basil according to Italian mothers.. and obviously dancing and bouncing like a maniac at Natalie Mcmaster's show last week.. all in the hopes of educating baby to phenominal music, good taste buds and very slow..uh oh theres a 10 degree incline hill better slow down or pass out exercise.. who wouldn't want to come out right then?
We are on alert.. hoping that at every moment I finally have real contractions and real labor. Needless to say we are probably over analyzing everything to speed up this process.. I sneezed?!.. definatly a sign of labor.... sudden gasp of ouch? ...definately laboresk...
ah yes.. everything is in hopes of how soonnnn????
And more than likely... we will be waiting past July 4th to finally hold and see what we have loved for 9 months all ready.
