(after a long day at the festival)
Meg- I can't believe that Lily is already 5 weeks old. Today she had her first purposful smile... followed by other smiles throughout the day. It was delightful.
We spent the afternoon at Mt. Gretna's art festival. And now we are exhausted waitingfor the olympics to start :)
It sure has been enjoyable switching to mommy mode. Challenging at times, but wonderful.Lils is sleeping about 6 hours each night..and has become queen of projectile vomiting...its seems to come out by the gallons.
We've enjoyed bath times in our big tub- and we've learned that she just loves to move.. constantly.. when in doubt if there are tears... (and food doesn't work) start bouncing and walking around. She has become much more awake and attentive during the day and her huge bright eyes are exploring everything for much longer periods of time :) I can't wait to go to the doctor next week to see how much our bean is weighing in at.
Also, she is loud.. a grunter while sleeping and eating... a very loud farter.. at times I thought it was Fletch who passed the gasers...and loud at pooing...small explosions for sure to be heard.. Eating is very slurpy sucky.. and hilarious when in public...and over all just very verbal! She is starting to have some really cute girlie noises that are more of a coo than a grunt... I will miss the grunting when it goes.. it is comical to say the least.

OH My shes sooo adorable! and getting so big!!! and I just love the last pic with Fletch.... What a great mom and dad you guys are already.... Oh I love you and miss you 3 so much!
