Hot, Humid, and Pregnant.

Fletch - Once again, months have slipped by without an update. Ah well. Summer life in Lancaster is as it usually is, hot, humid, and still flat. Although all of that can wear on me, I am constantly reminded of the good God has for us here. My best man and our house mate, Joel, lives with us...always adding a bit of spice to our lives. We love him dearly. Our church, Lancaster Evangelical Free Church (LEFC), is incredible. Our Young Marrieds Group and our small group are the best in the county, if not further. I have a mostly reliable job which many people cannot say right now, especially in the construction business. So, all in all, Lancaster ain't too bad. It is a little more quiet around here with the Larsens in the Congo. We miss their daily presence very much. Their 3 month return is already anticipated with excitement.

In other news, we will be welcoming a little girl to our family sometime around Christmas! Crazy. Exciting. How quickly we've moved from 2 to 4, and a half if you include Smoke. Well, he might be closer to an eighth. Meg is certainly feeling the effects of the wee babe, especially on the 90+ degree days like today. I even busted out the a/c for such a situation.

All of this said, we become more and more convinced that God will soon be opening a new chapter in our lives (beyond the family addition). We're not quite sure what that looks like yet, but our eyes are open to see it when the time is right. A relocation may be involved, but we shall see.
