The girls are tucked in for naps and I am awaiting heavy lids. I wonder why it is, that being pregnant is exhaustion with sleeping habits that give no rhyme or reason to not actually sleeping. I have found comfort in Psalm 63, especially the first half and verses 6 & 7.
"On my bed I remember you, I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help I sing in the shadow of your wings."

It amazes me how I have randomly stumbled on this psalm twice, both at very late hours of the night and it has allowed me to sleep following the reading. Maybe God is teaching me that I just need to close my day out with Him. makes sense. too much sense.

We are doing a book Study on Crazy Love by Francis Chan..http://crazylovebook.com I've read some of it before, but we are extremely excited at the prospects of this study and how radical and inspired our lives may become yet again.

What seems long ago, I met a couple that was ridiculously and radically on fire for the Lord. Their hearts screamed for him and they were plowing through tough stuff to remain in His presence. Every battle was seen for what it truly was, the fight for Christ to reign in his victory was was there, and it was captivating to watch. Doing life with them made sense. Encouraging each other on, spurring one another to live as though, this day.. this conversation, this spiritual battle.. this is it. There is a shortness to our lives, to expect to be here in a hour is a right we don't have. So I wonder, why have I stopped living this way.

I look at the twists and turns, the pitfalls, the routine of life. Day in, day out. My schedule, my priorities, my complaints, desires, my my my. I wonder if for just a day, how drastic my life would change, if .. I asked. What can I do for you Lord?
